Curtis Jewett started the business with nothing more than
a couple of screw jacks and a van.
As the business grew he incorporated
and brought his family into the organization.
The first invitation was to Helen Jewett (mother).
She was responsible for organizing the company from the glove box to an accoutable system for future generations. Mother
successfully did this for
13 years until
the age of 83 deciding to retire; she taught Cathy Thomas (daughter) the book keeping system.
Don Jewett (son) came into the business working
after school and on weekends. Don currently oversees the business' day to day affairs while rearing the next generation
of building movers.
